History
Fountain Green Irrigation Company, Inc, represents three divisions: Big Springs, Birch Creek, and Pole Canyon with supplemental rights. We are a privately owned nonprofit company. All rights are granted by the Cox Decree of 1936 priority of use 1861. These rights are active March 15th to November 15th of each year.
The irrigation company also owns and controls one cfs granted by decree for domestic and culinary use (page 122, Cox Decree). This water right is in effect from January 1st to December 31st of each year. Recently, this right was passed on to Fountain Green City, Inc, to control and manage as necessary.
